Smashing Pumpkins

Chef Matt and the kids having a smashing time!

It’s true. Students have been smashing pumpkins! (Actually, mashing is probably a better word!) And…oh…the result is something tasty.

Here’s a recipe for the pumpkin dip your kids have been making in culinary class with Chef Matt. Enjoy!

Mix together:
– 2 cups of pumpkin puree (from real roasted pumpkin, not from a can)
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
– 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
– 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
– 1 package of cream cheese

Serve with graham crackers

Simple and delicious……..that’s how we roll, or bake!
