Our Customers at Parkville Childrens Cottage

It’s important to teach children the value of healthy, delicious foods at an early age.  Not only do our customers enjoy the lunches prepared for them, but they also learn through our Food is Elementary Program.  The “customers” had a great time at PCC learning how to put together a fantastic snack of Ricotta Cheese, Berries and Apples, all part of our March is Dairy Month.  And of course, the best part was taking the time to sit back and enjoy the “fruits” of their labor.

These picture were sent to us from our friends at Parkville Children’s Cottage in Parkville, Mo.  They joined the BK family in 2011.  In these photos you see Chef Mark working with the students on how to properly use a knife to cut food.  It’s never to early to teach the joy of cooking to your young ones and it’s never to early to teach them the proper way to use cooking utensils, under adult supervision.
